AN EPIGRAM, OCCASIONED BY THE LATE CABAL.
Well, friend! hast heard the farce that late has been,
Where each State-Actor makes a Harlequin?
St-t-sm-n turn'd Harlequins! Why yes, 'tis plain
They're in, and out; and out, and in again.
Such wrangling, jangling, sure was never know !
They take each other up, before their down.
Say, what's the end of all this might riot?
I fear the nation gets but little by it!
